Nutritional Counseling

Bethany  grew up in the tight knit town of Owego, NY and her passion for nutrition dates all the way back to when she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome at the young age of 16. It was when she was studying nutrition at SUNY Oneonta where she began to develop that passion, honing in on pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding.

After graduating SUNY oneonta in 2011, Bethany worked for local nursing homes before going back  to her roots ands answering her calling as a nutritionist for the Tioga County WIC program. Working there provided further experience in nutritional counseling, prenatal, postnatal, infant, and early childhood nutrition, and breastfeeding/lactation. During her pregnancy Bethany was forced to leave her position at WIC when she was labeled high risk. She later spent her son's first five months learning how to be a mom from the NICU when he was born prematurely. Like with a lot of life's experiences, this developed new passions in lactation consulting and pediatric feeding.

Over the next few years, Bethany focused on being a mom and learning how to find a balanced, healthy lifestyle she could comfortably sustain. In 2018, Bethany took all of what she’d learned and experienced and her various passions within nutrition, to start providing nutrition counseling for others, to help them find their healthy balance, as well as support women through their pregnancy and in postpartum/breastfeeding. Bethany continues to follow the latest research and continually grow her education in all aspects of nutrition counseling, prenatal and postpartum nutrition and wellness, and breastfeeding. Bethany currently lives in Endicott with her husband, Tyler, and their son, Killian. When she’s not working Bethany is spending time with her husband and son and their large extended family, writing, or binge watching her favorite TV shows.
